Realization that I have gone another year without once riding my bicycle to work<\/td>\n

Realization that I again have the opportunity to become an avid snowshoer<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

No more warm days<\/td>\n

Opportunity to swaddle scrawny frame in layers of bulky clothing<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Possibility of snow<\/td>\n

Possibility of getting out of work due to snow<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Can no longer barbecue<\/td>\n
\n
Can begin using fireplace<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Fewer daylight hours makes running in the evening more difficult<\/td>\n

May now dismiss excess 10 lbs. as “winter weight”<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

No more baseball<\/td>\n

No more wasting 10+ hours a week watching baseball<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Wife and cat become moody due to lack of sunshine<\/td>\n
\n
[There is no upside to this]<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Impending holiday season brings with it an onslaught on unchecked consumerism<\/td>\n

Unchecked consumerism results in my receiving presents<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
