{"id":2603,"date":"2003-11-20T21:32:09","date_gmt":"2003-11-21T04:32:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/defectiveyeti.com\/?p=2603"},"modified":"2003-11-20T21:32:09","modified_gmt":"2003-11-21T04:32:09","slug":"2003-flossathon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/defectiveyeti.com\/wordpress\/2003\/11\/20\/2003-flossathon\/","title":{"rendered":"2003 Flossathon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A BIG thanks to those local Seattle celebrities who participated in the <b>2003 defective yeti Flossathon<\/b> yesterday:  <a href='http:\/\/q13.trb.com\/kcpq-bio-lesliem.story'>Leslie Miller<\/a>, <a href='http:\/\/www.geocities.com\/caroljean52\/Mariners'>Dan Wilson<\/a>, <a href='http:\/\/www.metrokc.gov\/exec\/'>Ron Sims<\/a>, and, of course, <a href='http:\/\/www.time.com\/time\/digital\/cyberelite\/12.html'>Paul Allen<\/a> &#8212; they were all here in the defective yeti studio, flossing for <i>24 continuous hours<\/i> to help raise money for the blog!!<\/p>\n<p>And I&#8217;m pleased to announce that we not only met out goal of $35 but SMASHED THROUGH IT, raising over <b><u>$37<\/u><\/b> for operational costs and snacks!  <i>That&#8217;s enough to keep defective yeti online for another three weeks!!!!!<\/i><\/p>\n<p>We apologize to those who tried to phone in a pledge after 3:00 yesterday afternoon &#8212; unfortunately we had to stop taking calls because the bleeding gums and loose teeth made it excruciatingly painful to talk.
