A sentence was at a job interview, and the interviewer said “we’re starting a new paragraph and we have an opening for an unambiguous, declarative sentence. Do you fit that criteria?”
“Well,” replied the sentence, “I’m pretty sure that I am probably the sort of sentence you may be looking for.”
And the interviewer said “Sorry, but I’m afraid you are over-qualified.”
Just imagine what other amazing concepts humanity could conceptualize if we all took the bus rather than filling our heads with road rage and other distractions by driving.
I don’t own a car. My biggest urban fear however is getting run over by the bus. Or choking to death on toxic bus fumes. Otherwise the bus is great! But no fare hikes darn-it! Futhermore I think people without cars that ride the bus should get a huge tax break! Or a free X-box!
Matthew, that’s the worst joke I’ve ever heard.
Here’s one I made up: I was talking about how
my sister and my friend’s sister (Fran) are
complete opposites. In fact, my sister is
the Fran-tithesis.
I think I sprained something reading these “jokes”.
My dog, Minton, won’t stop eating shuttlecocks, even when I tell him to stop – “Bad Minton”.
Not original.
What do you call two guys hanging on the wall?
Curt and Rod!!
Sorry — couldn’t resist!
Evidence why thinking should not be done on buses.
Why do anarchists only drink special tea?
because proper tea is theft
sorry about that….
these weblogs are bullshit. Get a life you losers!
Hmm. I think I get that one, Smax. I mean, I understand it and everything. But why would the skeleton even bother to drink the beer, since he doesn’t have a stomach and is just going to have to mop it up later? That’s the part I’m not following. Is it a pun or something?
i liked the joke… it kinda reminds me of that one aboot marsupials…you know…the one aboot marsupials…
Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha-ha…
